Hotel Information
The Doubletree Guest Suites Boston Hotel is a full-service, all-suite hotel beside the scenic Charles River at Boston's gateway, just off I-90 (Mass Turnpike), overlooking the Boston and Cambridge skylines and only ten minutes from Logan International Airport. The hotel is 100% non-smoking with designated smoking areas outdoors. A block of rooms has been reserved for July 4, 2009 - July 14, 2009. The special room rate will be available until June 15th or until the group block is sold-out, whichever comes first. Requests for accommodations received after the cut-off date will be accepted on a space available basis at the hotel's prevailing rate. RESERVE EARLY, bring the family and stay late for the Boston Harborfest and Sail Boston 2009 festival! This is a peak tourist season and hotels will fill quickly.

- Quad, $209 plus 12.45% tax
Reservation Procedure
All reservations are to be guaranteed with a credit card. Guaranteed reservations will be held for night of arrival only. To make a reservation Call the Hotel directly at 617-783-0090, ask for Reservations, and identify yourself being with the CSW group or book a room on-line at Doubletree's personalized website for the Chandra Summer conference . If you wish to cancel your reservation, please do so 24 hours before arrival to avoid cancellation penalties.
Check-in and Checkout
Hotel check-in is 3:00 p.m. and checkout is 12:00 p.m. All guests arriving before 3:00 p.m. will be accommodated as rooms become available. The Guest Service Department can arrange to check luggage for those guests arriving early when rooms are not available and for guests attending functions on departure day. The Hotel staff looks forward to welcoming each of you. Be sure to receive their very special, signature warm chocolate chip cookie at check-in!
Early Departure Fees
Guests will have the opportunity to confirm their departure date at check-in. Once this departure date has been confirmed and in the event if the guest departs prior to their confirmed departure date, there will be a $75 early departure fee assessed to the individual's account.
Food and Beverage Information
Breakfast
The conference will sponsor a continental breakfast each morning in Scullers. There will be time for poster viewing opportunities during this time.
Lunch Buffet
To maximize available conference time and recognizing there are few lunch opportunities in the immediate vicinity, a lunch buffet will be in the hotel's dining room/Green Room (Jul 8,9,10). The Hotel will charge an all inclusive fixed fee of $15-$17 for lunch and will post the menu. Payment may be by credit card, cash, or charged to your guest room. Each person is responsible for paying his/her own lunch.
Breaks
Mid-morning and afternoon breaks will revolve around poster viewing opportunities and will be at a length to allow for discussion with colleagues.
Dinner
Few restaurants are less than a 20 minute walk from the hotel. To make dinner plans, we encourage participants to accrete colleagues into groups of several. Signup sheets will be posted each day. Except by choice, no one should be left to dine alone.
With public transportation to all points in Boston available until midnight, taxis 24-hours-a-day in front of the hotel, the hotel shuttle service (reservation required), local colleagues and friends with personal cars, or staying on-site, dinner and evening entertainment opportunities are bountiful. In addition to transportation information provided on the conference web pages, hardcopies will be available at the meeting, as well as maps and dining information published by the Harvard Square Business Association and the Central Square Business Association.
