An optional one-page science justification (SJ) may be uploaded with DDT requests. The SJ is not required, as stated in the CfP. Accordingly, the following text is modified:
p. 9, bullet "Expanded Director's Discretionary Time (DDT) Program:" should read:
Starting 16 December 2016 the DDT program will accept proposals for urgent non-transient science. In addition, a 1-page science justification may be uploaded electronically via RPS (see Chapter 6 ) in support of a DDT request. The time available for the DDT program will increase from 700 ks to 1 Msec in Cycle 19.
From Dec 15 2016 a one-page Science Justification may be submitted in support of a DDT request and can be uploaded via RPS.
