EPHIN Operations
In support of FOT studies of the effect of elevated temperatures on EPHIN, we have examined the EPHIN coincidence event PHA records for evidence of detector degradation.
- No change is apparent in the width of the proton peak in the mass-spectrum.
- A slight change in the mean of the proton peak is observed, which may indicate a change in performance cause by elevated temperatures or the radiation exposure.
- Consulting with the EPHIN IPI team on analysis results.
