The Chandra Calibration Workshop (CCW) is held every other year for the dissemination
and advancement of our understanding of the performance and capabilities of the
Chandra satellite. It is intended to share the Chandra teams'
knowledge of the detectors and mirrors with the community while
encouraging participation and feedback in the process of calibrating
the satellite.
In 2007, the CCW was held Oct 25 at the Marriott Hotel in Huntsville, Alabama, immediately following the Eight Years of Science with Chandra meeting held Oct 22-25 at the same location. Conference proceedings are available here. There will not be a calibration workshop in 2008. The next CCW will be in Fall 2009, in conjunction with the Ten Years of Science with Chandra Symposium in Boston. |
