See https://cxc.harvard.edu/mta/SOT_reports/sot-shift.html Shift L9062. Start at 134:13:09 GMT PLAN ---- Wait out radiation storm. NOTES/ISSUES/PROBLEMS --------------------- From the 9am status meeting: 9 Supports Completed over the weekend (Total time: 21.2 hours) 9 SSR dumps Loads good through: 2024:138:06:33:48.000 CAP's / Procedures Run: CAP # | Time | Title / Description / Notes [593A]| 131/1535z | Manual SCS-107 Activation This CAP will be used to Safe the Science Instruments due to high radiation environment. [893B]| 131/1600z | Disable SCS 29 SCS 29 controls the spacecraft loads during eclipse operations and will only be active during the entire eclipse season. SCS 107 enables and actives SCS 29 as a contingency operation. SCS 29 should be disabled when outside of the eclipse season. This CAP should be executed after the last eclipse of the season, as directed by the EPS engineer. Additionally, this CAP may be used in the event SCS 107 is executed outside of eclipse season. [1230N]| 131/2018z | Manual ObsID Change In the split mission load operating environment (i.e., separate Vehicle and Observing mission loads), it may be desirable to change the ObsID value via ground commands after an SCS-107 execution. This change will assist the CXCDS team’s handling of the spacecraft data after the SCS-107 run and before the resumption of normal science mission activities. This CAP is to be used to accomplish this ObsID change. Radiation: Solar activity is expected to be high on days one and two (13 May, 14 May) and expected to be low with a slight chance for an M-class flare on day three (15 May). Current radiation situation has improved over the weekend and looks good for science restart at this time. MP: Expect load products for review later today for 11pm DSS-65 (Day 135 0300z) comm pass. ENG: Limit violations from weekend radiation situation. GOT: No issues.
