HRC Command Sequences

Antico. Shield 1 Manual On and Ramp-up

Description:

This is the sequence that will be used the first time the HRC anticoincidence shield is activated and for subsequent activations until adequate confidence in the performace of the PMT is gained to allow for autonomous operation.

This sequence starts by setting the HV level for the anticoincidence shield photomultiplier tube (PMT) to its minimum value and then turns on the HVPS. After verifying that it is OK to proceed, the HV is raised in a series of steps with a pause at each HV level for verification of proper operation.

Cautions/Restrictions:

This sequence requires a real time contact for its entire duration.
