OP03 Procedures op03:

HRC Higher-Level Sequences

+Y Shutter Scan

This sequence is used to scan the +Y shutter across the aim-point on one of the HRC detectors. After verifying that the door is not in the way of the shutter travel, the +Y shutter is moved to an initial starting position, POS_START. Then, for a specified number of steps (NUM_STEPS), the shutter is moved STEP_SIZE motor steps toward the maximum limit switch. At each shutter position there is a pause of DWELL_TIME to collect data.

The HRC Door must be out of the way of the shutter travel, either the door must be closed or it must be fully open (see HRC-C-008). This is accomplished in the first sequence of the procedure.
