Subject: Spacecraft Power Bus Configuration for the HRC

CRL Statement:
Only one of the two spacecraft buses for the HRC may be on.
CRL Rationale/Justification:
The power configuration constraint is derived from the HRC thermal design.
CRL Impact:
Application of power to both the primary and redundant sides of the
HRC electronics at the same time may result in over-heating due to
power dissipations in excess of the design values. Such over-heating
may damage of degrade the electronics.
Recommended Action:
Incorporate into the Systems and Operations Procedures, with ASC providing
the inputs.
