Cycle 22 PIMMS Effective Areas

The PIMMS Cycle 22 effective areas are illustrated below. As is always the case, the time-delay factor for the ACIS contaminant build-up has been updated; However, the ACIS CONTAM file has been updated as well for both ACIS-I and ACIS-S. The new model anticipates a linear growth of the contamination layer depth with time, which increases the anticipated effect with time relative to last year's model. The HRC-I configurations show NO CHANGE with respect to last year's predictions, while the HRC-S configurations include new chip edge locations and a modified time-dependent QE Uniformity.
The model OBS_IDs and the ARF-building scripts have now been standardized for Chandra PIMMS calculations. Hence the procedures are the same as with cy21.
