SSR Dump Records and Quality Reports From July 1999


Once SSR dump data is telemetered down from Chandra, it goes through many phases before it reaches the Chandra X-Ray Observatory Center (CXC). The group that makes dump data available for immediate processing is the Ground Operations Team (GOT). As part of their procedure, they issue emails that indicate a new SSR dump file has been recieved and the quality of that dump file. The quality of a dump file is determined by comparing the number of VCDUs missing and the number of VCDU gaps in the GOT file with that of the DSN and JPL records. The following are a list of JULY 1999 SSR dump files for which I have received such emails:
