Synopsis
angle-dependent reflection from an ionized disk XSpec convolution model *Experimental*.
Description
This implements the XSPEC xilconv convolution model.
xsxilconv Parameters
Number | Name | Description |
---|---|---|
1 | rel_refl | the relative reflection normalization |
2 | redshift | redshift |
3 | Fe_abund | iron abundance relative to Solar; all other elements are assumed to have Solar abundance. |
4 | cosIncl | cos i, the inclination angle |
5 | log_xi | the ionization parameter used by the table models |
6 | cutoff | the exponential cut-off energy (keV) |
Loading the X-Spec convolution models
Please see ahelp xsconvolve for information on how to load the model.
Notes
- This is an experimental release of the convolution models; please take care when using this model.
- Sherpa does not have an equivalent of the extend command in X-Spec.
XSpec version
This information is taken from the XSpec User's Guide. Version 12.10.0e of the XSpec models is supplied with CIAO 4.11.
About Contributed Software
This script is not an official part of the CIAO release but is made available as "contributed" software via the CIAO scripts page. Please see this page for installation instructions - such as how to ensure that the parameter file is available.
