HRC Command Sequences

Power Down HRC - SCS #41

Description:

This command sequence turns off all of the HRC HVPS and then turns off the HRC low voltage. This sequence is to be used for load shedding prior to eclipse entries for which it is necessary to minimize the drain on the spacecraft batteries. This sequence should also be used when the AXAF electrical power system encounters a fault that requires the HRC load to be shed.

This sequence uses serial digital commands to shut off each of the HV power supplies, HRC-S, HRC-I, PMT 1, and PMT 2 (only one of HRC-I or HRC-S and one of PMT 1 or PMT 2 should be on). It then sends high level pulse commands to switch off both the A and B side +5V power supplies (again only one of these should be on).

This command sequence is based on the HRC EGSE scripts allhvoff.cmd and 5voff.cmd
