Matching CIAO and CALDB VersionsCIAO 4.0 requires CALDB 3.4.0 or higher to operate properly. Are your versions mismatched? Time to update CIAO and CALDB! Bug List for CIAO 4.0The CIAO 4.0 software release includes several bug fixes to the CIAO tools and the Data Model. For complete details on this release, see the release notes. A list of bugs fixed in this release is available at the end of each bug page. Users should also check the Frequently Asked Questions for information on warnings, common errors, and other problems. If you think you have found a bug in CIAO which is not shown here, please submit a ticket to the CXC Helpdesk describing the problem. The bug list for CIAO 3.4 is still available and actively maintained. Mac OS X platforms: FITS table file writing slowness with NFS-mounted disks. FITS table file writing through the CXC Data Model slows by a significant factor on Mac OS X machines - both 10.4 (Tiger) and 10.5 (Leopard) - when the data is accessed via a networked file system (NFS) mount. This issue does not affect Solaris or Linux platforms. |
