AHELP for CIAO 4.11 ChIPS v1

delete_colorbar

Context: images

Synopsis

Delete the specified colorbar.

Syntax

delete_colorbar()
delete_colorbar(id)

Description

The function arguments.

Argument Description
id A ChipsId structure identifying the item, or a string containing the name of the object.

If no argument is given then the current color bar is deleted, otherwise the argument determines what to delete.

Examples

Example 1

chips> add_colorbar(0, 0.5, ["orientation", "vertical"])
chips> delete_colorbar()

Create a colorbar, then delete it.

Example 2

chips> add_colorbar(0, 0.5, "id=vert orientation=vertical")
chips> add_colorbar(.5, -.05)
chips> delete_colorbar("vert")

Two colorbars are created; the second colorbar is current after it is created. The first colorbar is deleted by using its name. The following can also be used to delete a specific colorbar (the advantage for the following is that the window, frame or plot can also be changed in the ChipsId structure):

chips> id = ChipsId()
chips> id.colorbar = "vert"
chips> delete_colorbar(id)
