HRMA Calibration: Focal Length, Plate Scale, and Detector Positions


Status

A new value for the HRMA focal length has been postulated to be 10070 +-3mm (90% interval including systematic uncertainties). The official determination and announcement is posted below.

The new GEOM file produces acceptable sky coordinates for all detectors; the residual errors are well within 1" in the areas normally used for imaging observations.
