Item 2. No Response from HelpDesk?
        ==========================

It has recently come to our attention that email from the CXC HelpDesk 
is getting stuck in SPAM filters.   HelpDesk tickets are usually 
assigned within a couple of hours of receipt during normal working 
hours.   Please check your SPAM filter if you do not get a response or 
update within this timeframe.  Most SPAM filters  are configurable; if 
you use HelpDesk regularly you might consider allowing email from 
"Administrator".

Item 3. Galaxies Viewed With Chandra Workshop
        ===================================== 

Galaxies Viewed With Chandra 
Workshop 2004
Sheraton Commander Hotel
Cambridge, MA
Wed-Fri July 7-9, 2004

The goals of this workshop, hosted by the Directors 
Office of the Chandra X-ray Center (CXC), are to 
focus Chandra galaxy science by

  * identifying the most pressing scientific questions in this area
  * debating good Chandra strategies to answer them

Keep an eye on the workshop website at

which lists deadlines (see below) and overall topics,
including links to Invited Speakers, accommodations, and local info.

DEADLINES:
The deadline for Early Registration/Abstract Submission
(Talks or Posters) is Friday April 2, 2004.  For
Late Registration (Posters Only), the deadline is 
May 7, 2004.  Lodging should be arranged as early as possible, 
but by June 5 at the latest.
