ATOMDB Prior Releases

Current Version: 1.3.0

Each release of the ATOMDB contains the following files:

  • The most up-to-date version of APED, including all energy level, radiative transition, and electronic collisional excitation files.
  • A spectral calculation from APEC using this version of APED
  • Release notes, describing the changes made in the new release and any caveats about it.
The latest version of the ATOMDB can be downloaded here or from the official CIAO download page. If you need to download earlier releases, they can be found here. Note that these should not be used for any current analysis, and may have some differences in the FITS format from the current release.
